Admission

Eligibility :The candidate seeking admission to the 1st year of ITI (NCVT) course must have passed SS Examination / Matric / ICSE / CBSE or its equivalent examination with physics, chemistry & mathematics. Trainees of I.T.I. who have completed the prescribed period (one year or two years depending on the trade) of training he must complete minimum 80% of total attendance conducted.

Training Curriculum

The Institute maintains a training standard. In compliance to this standard, the Institute appoints a group of qualified and experienced instructional staff to impart methodical training to make the trainees fit for employment in industries as well as for self-employment by availing assistance from Govt. agencies/schemes. During the training period, regular Periodical Tests are conducted to evaluate the performance of the trainees. Special classes/sessions are organised for the trainees who need more input.

In case, any trainee found incorrigible and departed from the rules and regulations of the institute, disciplinary actions will be taken against the trainee concerned as deemed proper..

General Rules

a) All trainees should aim to conduct themselves according to the highest standards of manners and discipline.
b) Punctuality and regular attendance is essential for good progress in studies and conducive to moulding of character.
c) Dignity of Labour is an important aspect of our training. No job is considered below one’s dignity.
Therefore, all trainees must be ready to work hard, including any type of physical work. This includes cleaning and maintenance of ITI premises, , classrooms, workshops, dining room, machinery, tools & materials and garden by the students. d) No trainee shall leave the classroom or workshop without permission from his/her Instructor.
e) Each trainee must ensure to wear complete neat and clean uniform along with PPRs (Personal Protective Equipment wherever applicable for Safety) throughout the course.
f) Trainees can carry out practical work, only as assigned by his/her instructor.
g) Safety Regulations must be followed religiously. The institute will not be responsible for any injury or disablement caused due to non-observance/violation of the prescribed safety regulations. h) Each trainee or his/her parents or guardian must meet the expenses of the damage(s) caused to ITI property, due to negligence, wilfulness or disobedience of orders or rules. Depending upon the seriousness of the case, this may lead to immediate expulsion from the course.
i) Any form of leave shall be addressed to the Principal or his representative stating the period and reason for leave applied for. Absence without permission will be treated as misconduct and appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against the trainee.
j) A minimum of 80% attendance is required for a trainee to be eligible to appear in the Semester Exams.
Non-compliance will disqualify the trainee from appearing in the semester exams.
k) ITI will take serious note for wilful acts of misbehaviour, such as the use of obscene words or actions disobedience, fight in or out of ITI premises, irregular attendance and POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) which will lead to severe punishments and possible dismissal.
l) In case, if any trainee shows unsatisfactory performance or conduct, at first instance, action will be a verbal reprimand. Along with this, a warning in writing will be given to him/her with a copy to his/her parent /guardian. Recurrence of the same or similar offence will lead to suspension or dismissal from the institute. In such an eventuality, the student will not have any claim for a refund for any fees or amounts paid (other than caution deposit). m) Unless permitted by the Principal, no trainee shall become a member of any club, association, union, which is not conducive to the academic credibility of the trainee. n) No trainee should play in any team against the team of institute. o) Smoking, consumption of alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited in the premises of the Institute and the Hostel. Non-compliance of the same will lead to dismissal of the trainee from the institute. p) Trainees are not allowed to bring jewellery, any other expensive gadgets to institute premises without permission of the Principal.
q) Use of mobile phones during the training hours is strictly prohibited.
r) Time to time, the above –mentioned rules are liable to change. Each trainee will be bound by these rules.
s) Each trainee and his/ her parent shall give undertaking to abide by the rules of the institute.
t) Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited in the Campus and Hostel. Ragging means inducing, compelling or forcing a trainee either by way of practical joke or otherwise to commit any act which detracts from human dignity or exposes him to ridicule or prevent him from doing any Unlawful act by Intimidating, wrongfully confining or injuring him by using force.

Electrician

Fit, install, maintain and repair electrical machinery, equipment and fitting in factories, workshops, power houses and business/residential premises.
 Set, adjust, repair electrical relays, etc. and perform related works.
 Install electrical meters, transformers, switch
gears, switch boards and other electrical equipment etc.  Test electrical installations and equipment and locate faults, repair and replace defective wiring, parts and components etc.
 Operate and maintain electrical motors, pumps etc.
 Extra need based training on machines.
 Follow Safety rules related to Electrical works.

Hostel

Ragging, being a punishable offence under various provisions ofstate education act is forbidden at campus and hostel. Any trainee found committing, aiding and / or abetting the act of ragging would be liable for punishment as decided by TSSDS Pvt. ITI, and Tamar will be liable for penal action. Hostel facility is available for boys and girls on payment basis(as applicable) depending upon the availability.

Meeting with Parents Every quarter parents/guardians are required to meet the Principal and the respective Trainer/Teacher (along with their son/daughter/relative) to keep an update of their ward’s progress in training as well as general behaviour. .

Placement

It has been our experience for over 5 decades that there is an increasing demand for trainees who pass out from NTTF, not only within the country, but also from abroad. Assistance for campus interview and placement are extended by the foundation. However, the trainees are advised to note that many reputed companies insist for first attempt pass and minimum of 60% marks in all examinations, right from S.S.L.C/10th/8th std onwards for the purpose of recruitment. All passed out trainees of the institute have been successfully placed so far. For the current outgoing batches, campus selection process is in progress. !
